The University of Florida is among the top universities in the United States. The Florida Gators are one of the premier brands in not only college athletics, but in all of sports. The athletic program has championed the student-athlete and come to stand as the standard-bearer for more than football. The Gators have won the SEC All-Sports trophy an unprecedented 28 times and has ranked among the nation’s top ten in NCAA Division I athletic programs (every year since 1983–84). The Florida Gator experience from on-campus live events, through television, or social media interaction, has built a dedicated and loyal fanbase – the Gator Nation.


Here's what I bring to this role:

I am excited about this opportunity because the responsibilities listed for this role fall within the scope of my experience – most recently as Senior Creative Director at Rakuten, a global advertising, marketing, and media company. As a leader, the development of my teams has been a priority. I have built and managed a global team across various disciplines, coordinating resources while nurturing team and individual growth to fuel mutual investment and raise productivity. I’ve worked closely with stakeholders at all levels to build a robust and collaborative ecosystem that ensures a cohesive creative culture. Additionally, I have worked with external agencies to help evolve the company identity and incorporated systems to maximize the availability of assets and standardize the brand experience. I’m also a sports fan and have been an avid Florida Gator fan since the early ’90s.

One of the strengths I’ve developed has been the ability to focus on the things I can impact. Prioritizing company and team goals, authentic investment in people, and nurturing relationships have been the cornerstone of how I develop and lead by example.
