Rakuten Ready eReport :: Key Trends Driving Digital Innovation
Rakuten Ready was a sister company to Rakuten Advertising and had traditionally outsourced creative for all of its reporting. I had worked directly with the CMO and primary marketing team to develop this time-sensitive e-report that included insights and predictions geared towards helping businesses navigate through the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“The 2020’s have gotten off to an inauspicious start, with COVID-19 derailing what had promised to be a strong year for retailers, grocers and restaurants. On the economic side, unemployment has skyrocketed and hundreds of billions of dollars in consumer spending simply disappeared. Bankruptcies, store closings and layoffs define the economy, accelerating challenges that have been developing throughout the last few years. Despite this, we have a highly optimistic view for the 2020s.”
One of my main focuses has been to efficiently develop these digital reports into multi-functional sales enablement tools by making them proportional to presentation formats. This provides the sales team with greater flexibility working with prospects as well as supporting our client services teams to share the insights with existing partners providing added value.
